Ok so I get this email from okuma fishing USA yesterday. Apparently I won a Facebook contest that I entered. The email says I won $200 in okuma gear...sweet right? Yeah the problem is I can't decide what to get. I have a citrix now and I love it. Anyway other than my citrix I have zero knowledge of okuma tackle. Anyone using okuma gear on here that may be able to offer some insight? All input is appreciated.

Ended up with a rod rack...24.99
Alumina reel...99.99
Zipper okuma jacket...44.99
Hat...19.99
shirt...19.99
Then I got to talking to the Rep about my citrix and he said I should send it in to him so he can upgrade my cast control because the had some issues with the first Gen citrix models. No cost to me. In addition to that I went over my 200 and the refused to let me pay the difference. Mind you it was only 15 over but still. The folks over at okuma USA are first rate in my book.

That kind of service is something to brag about. I'll be checking their website.

I gotta say I was thoroughly impressed. It was a pleasure. I fully expected them to hit me for every dime I went over. Erica even went the extra mile to try and get it here by my birthday since we are headed to the coast. This is the type of service that is lacking with almost all sporting goods manufacturers. I will only fish with okuma gear after the way I was treated. Most times you get what you're promised and then forgotten. However, she actually called me back before leaving for vacation to let me know my order would ship tomorrow and that she personally saw to it that I would have my gear in time for the trip. I just really can't say enough about the people over there.
