I bought a new GARMIN 320C and after about 2 hrs use it went bad. I sent it to Garmin to be repaired and got it back and it worked about 30 minutes, I called Garmin and they said my transducer was probally defective so I sent the 320C back and bought a new transducer { even tho the first transducer works great on my 250 } well I got the 320 back -hooked it up with a new transducer and it didn't work at all!! I told GARMIN I didn't want it repaired again and they said they would send me a new one. I got a new one from GARMIN { with scratches and scuff marks } and this one didn't work at all. I called GARMIN and told them the 700.00 investment now was over 800.00 with all the shipping and new transducers, well they agreed to send me a new 250 C { color } in place of the 320 C {color} even tho I wold have to take a 400.00 unit in place of a 700.00 unit I said OK, was tired of the bull. I sent them the 320C and got my new unit today from GARMIN--A 250 BLACK and WHITE!!!! they sent me a 229.00 black and white in xchange of a 700.00 color. I THINK I'm going back to LOWRANCE!!!

I emailed Lowrance a question 10 days ago.........hadn't heard anything after a week so emailed again....nothing for 24 more hours........sent one more this morning and will see if I hear anything. Maybe we should cut and paste these into the "customer service a thing of the past" thread. And NO I haven't called Lowrance yet, I work nights but will be calling them this morning to see who is on up the food chain around there to send the copies of the emails I been sending and getting no replies to.

If you call Lowrance tech help expect to WAIT a long time on the line to talk to someone. I finally got a tech and then just ask him to e-mail the answer.I did get answer in about an hour. Most of the time I cannt get a good answer that works. Good luck!

Did you pay with cc card? Some offer a warranty of some type with purchases with thier card. Call them. All they could say is no. I would'nt settle. Maybe the news station in your area can help. Some investigate issues and help out consumers that get resolution. $500.00 bucks is $500.00. I would be taking names and wupping bass. Good Luck.

I had a couple problems with my Garmin and they fixed it real quick! They treated me excellant! banana

I've only use Eagle or Lowrance and the couple of times I have needed service it was excellent.
I'll never use any other electronics.
