 anyone have the humminbird TCR portable

my uncle gave me the humminbird TCR portable fishfinder. he told me that i need to sent it into the factory to have the l.e.d. light fixed  i was wondering if anyone has an opinion on this unit and if it is worth sending into the factory

I do not believe that we can service the TCR series of units any more. Call 1-800-633-1468 and talk to our Customer Resource folks and see what they say just to make sure though.
