Lake Granger is about to get to the point that you cannot launch, so I decided to find the best alternative.
The best Lake that I can fish is Lake LBJ due to the fact that it is a constant level lake.
I have never fished LBJ, but after today, I wished I had.
Rhonda and I must have caught over 100 crappie today, nothing big, but 85% keepers.
What a great time today!!

I just knew when told me you were going, that you just needed to find a lake with water in it and you would find the fish.

I hear theres plenty of boat docks to shoot there.
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

Sounds great Kevin and glad you have a lake that you can fish while many of our Texas lakes are down so much. I am sick of this one being down so much for sure and we need one heck of a lot of water to fill this puppy up now.

Rhonda Not really, The biggest fish was only 1 pound, so we didn't use it much.
