Was fishibg sat on Fork with my wife, when she ask me honey what is that ? pointing to part of a log over by the bank,, it kinda looked like a alligator head but also looked like wood.

So i pitched my jig over it and brought it back over the eye area it did not move,, so i told her see it is just a log that looks like an alligator.

Just as i am about to make another cast this log thing goes under an my wife is going crazy,, i told you is was an alligator, sure enough not 30 feet later this thing comes up and start swimming down the bank,, looked like 10-12 feet long.

Great time with the wife for her to see this in the wild. bolt

I heard there was a small gator population on Fork, I just thought it was a rumor.

I have a cousin that when we would be wade fishing in the St Johns river in Fl he would cast to gaters looking for a meal. I had to repeatedly tell him to knock it off we were there for the fish not the gaters. Lord help us if one took the bait.
