Spent four hours fishing the large lake on both sides of lakepoint pkwy and it was a blast. Most bass came on a Hags F5 Tx rigged. Nothing more than 3 pounds but action was steady. These lakes are filled with thick hydrilla growing in water as deep as 10-12 ft.

When you say Lakepoint do you mean I35? Ive done well around that part just above Sneaky Petes but I havent been over there since the water has been down. Did you fish the North or South bank of that channel the bridge goes over?
