You might want to go look at page 6 of the Winter Fishoff thread. Just made a big announcement that may entice several of you to join up, can't be beat for a $17 chance.

how does it work excataly ?

You enter the fishoff. When you catch a big fish you take a picture of you holding the fish with the control item plus a pic with the scale weight. Submit it in the appropriate thread on here. Talk trash til someone beats ya LOL.

if i am understanding correctly, you send in the pics as cathog demonstrated once each month. upgrading is allowed each month but it is paying out places for oct/nov,dec/jan,feb/march. so the highest combined weight for the two months wins it for those two months for a payout 3 times in 6 months.

Close Tom LOL. Each section(2 months) you are allowed to upgrade as many times as you can. Your biggest fish submitted will be counted for each section(2 months). The "leg lamp" award will be given to the contestant with the biggest 3 fish total(one fish for each section). I hope this clears it up a bit. Hopefully with this format things will be a little tighter than they were last year, and it will give the guys that dont fish as much(as some of us) a better chance.

I wonder if there will be 3 fish put together by one contestant over 200#s. That would be flat awesome and is definitely possible, only a 67 pound average

That's only 66.66 lbs a piece, it's posible, especially if you are fishing Texoma or Tawokoni on a regular basis!!!

Of the folks that played last year that turned in more than one fish, these were the top averages with their overall placings:
48 with 5-2nd, 44 with 6-1st, 44 with 3-8th, 41 with 2-13th, 41 with 5-5th

Making this 2 months a section the averages should come up.
