Bazztex has offered to give me a treat of fishing with him in the morning at Fork while he gets ready for the tournment. What a great offer. I'll let yall know how we do. Hopefully we'll have time for some crappie fishing too. Tonight we will be fishing off the pier at the minnow bucket. I undestand that some crappie have started coming in. Sharon

If it is possible to learn anything about a person on the 'net', I think you will be in for the chance of a lifetime. He seems not only knowledgeable but kind and even tempered. One of those men that it is a pleasure to know. Good Luck, wish we could all come and go with y'all!

I think you will enjoy fishing with Bazz, just don't get too nervous Sharon when he tells you to buckle your 5 point saftey restraint harness, prior to lift off !!!!

Just kidding about that last part, Bazz is very saftey conscience.

Sharon, you will have a great time with ole Bazz. I have had that honor a couple of times and was not dissappointed. His boat has plenty of room, even for a big-un like me and take the above given advice and lock on your safty belt because I think the only thing in the water when I went was the prop. While you are up there get him to show you where the Hydrilla gorrilla lives. You will have a great time and for sure will not forget it anytime soon.

Good Luck!!!!!
The Mayor!

Sharon, a bit of advice before taking a ride on the aluminum rocket; bring your own parachute and don't worry about meeting Bazztex on time, his watch is 30 minutes slow.

Bottom line is Bazztex is a gentlemen, a very good fishermen and I promise you will have a great day on the water.

Just to let you guys know, we had a great time this morning. Got on the water at 5:30, I swear I have never gone that fast on the water in the dark!!!! , He had Barb and I in his boat and they hubbies following, (Way behind) We caught some bass and learned alot. After lunch we parted and he put us on a spot for crappie. WOW, we caught crappie, bass, and some good cats. We had a great day, and Bazz is just as you have all said a super guy. Sharon

Hey sharon I had dinner with Bazz tonight. He said you guys did pretty well. Thats great I am proud for you. Don't worry about going fast, he knows that lake like the back of his hand. He was even telling me about spots that I have fished and certain drops here or structure there that I never knew of. I will have to go check it out one day, but not this weekend(those are his spots for McDonalds, not mine).

Don't you wish everyone was as nice and laid back as ole Bazz the world would be a lot better place.

_Hey Yall: Had a Hoot fishin with Sharon, Barbra, Phillip and Dennis. Yall made that trip fun!! Them Gurls can fish too...I was proud of all Yall

_Glad that old Timber Break Line spot I told you about still has some fish on it. I have caught my share there for sure. Glad Dennis caught that 5Lb Catfish his personal Life Time Best!! Excellent

_Thanks to the rest of you for the kind words! Not sure deserve it..but the boat ride stories are a bit exagerated...just a little...I aint got no seatbelts!!

_I have enjoyed fishing with all the TFF members that I have had the pleasure of sharing the boat, fellowship, and fishing time with.

_Never got a Hydrilla Gorilla or anything that would win any money. Caught plenty of fish but they was little'rns..8 to 15"er's. I was on Vacation and had a blast...7 days of Fork fishin!!

_Good Luck and Catch A Big'un Yall!!

If the boat ride is anything like the pick-up ride, you'll not be late..even if his watch is slow. Hee Hee!!

Absolutely one of the finer folks to spend time with!!

Hey bazztex:

Think I seen you Wed. afternoon coming out of white oak about 6-7pm. I was in my new Red & Whit BassCat - U might not rember me but I was in my old boat (tidecraft) at the Ray Hubbard TFF and u let us follow u to the ramp (Me & my buddy really appreciated U slowing down for us that day) - Had the same luck as you last week all little ones - Did I here the story right that the kid that won the tourney made a bad cst & was picking out a back lash when He caught that toad.
See Ya on the water

_Hey Razor Bass: Congrats on the New Boat!! That was'nt me in White Oak Wednesday,,sorry I missed you. I did see a couple of Black Xpress 21XD's on the water besides mine. One was a 98 and one was a 2003 model. Wednesday I fished the East Arm and never got any farther north than the mouth of Little Caney. I was also off the water before 1Pm that day.

_We did well runnin and gunnin grass beds Wednesday.... but you can't really do that durring the tournament because of all the boats on the grass / lilly pad areas. We Had Fun Fishin just being on Vacation..Anyhow!! I dont know that whole story about the winner but it makes sense. A lot of Big Bass are caught on Fork buy mistake!!

_Good Luck and Catch A Big'un Yall!!
