Since 8/27 Calaveras Lake has been good for a hot water, power plant lake on blues. I'm listing just the ones that I know of personally and ones caught by friends. It has produced a 34, 22, 16, 17, 12, 11, 8, 7 and several over 6. If you don't fish power plant lakes it's somewhat of a different game than the big natural lakes. I'm sure there have been others that I had not heard about.

I fish Gibbons Creed near College Station and it is also a power plant. Been doing good on chanels but have a hard time finding shad to go after the blues. Water lever is really low.

I know about water levels being low, I went to Bastrop yesterday to do some work on the trailer and it was about 2 feet down from normal.

Calle continues on it's good streak, produced another 16+ blue for me today along with 17 others, channel and blue mix. Buffalo was the bait of the day, they were hitting it 3 to 1 over shad.

I get my buff at the Fiesta Market in Austin, IH 35 and Stasney Lane (south end of town)
