I need to fix the pedestal on my 1990 champion. I dont want to pay 100 bucks for an enitely new pedestal, I broke the little plastic tab offf on the bottom, so it wont stay put. Is there anywhere I can buy the plastic piece, or am i SOL and have to buy a totally new one. It looks something like this.

Contct your local marine dealer. The plastic cap w/tag is sold by V&V marine out of Fort Worth. They are a wholesaler, so they won't sell to the public. Also several other wholesale supplies sell it too. In most marinas, that item is not a stocker item, but can be had within a couple of days.
