Hey guys, should be an easy question i think. im on the baylor fishing team and i now have a partner with a bass boat. last year since i had no partner i was basically an alternate for our teams that did, so im wanting to get more serious about my bass fishing. from what i've read topo maps are a must especially for deep water fishing. ive googled topo maps for lake waco but none of them look right to me. none of the samples ive seen show the land contours on the body of water, is that just to make you buy it or am i missing something(i.e. their not supposed to be on there)?

Not aware of any paper maps, but you can get something to work with on your computer. First, go to the Lowrance website and download one of their product emulators. If I'm not mistaken you get to that thru the Downloads link on the home page. After that, from the Lowrance home page follow the Mapping link and look for the Enhanced Lake Maps link. Select that and then select TX and then you will find a topo map for Lake Waco. Download that file and place it in the mapping folder for the emulator. From there it's like using a Lowrance unit on your computer and it does offer a little flexibility, like the use of weigh points, etc. If you have any questions or problems in getting it to run just shoot me a PM and I'll help you through it.
