Hello guys:

I need to replace my trailer bunks...at least I think it is what they are called. They are the carpeted covered wood planks (2) that the boat sits on. I am not talking about the carpeted wood guide ons that are on the side of the trailer I am talking about the ones that you drive your boat onto and off of. My trailer is a 1989 Yacht Club that was made to go with a 16 and half foot aluminum deep V. It has 8 foot 7 inch carpeted bunks (2). I have searched online all day trying to find these bunks and cannot find them in this length. Can anyone help me out and tell me where I can get these bunks. I am in the Dallas area (Plano)

Thanks
Muskieman

go to the local lumber yard and buy pressure treated lumber and measure and cut.
predrill holes and then coat all side very well with water sealer. Then cover with marine grade carpet or you can buy bunk board covers from a boat dealer (Jerry Whittle Boats in Lewisville)
This is the cheapest way.
Hope this helps laugh

The worst times fishing are still better than the best time thinking about it.
