My son Jeremiah and I made a day trip to Port A on Thursday. Got there in time for the noon crossing and fished till 6pm. Two oversize reds 30" and 33". All caught on lemon rigs with live mullet(which was EVERYWHERE) that we netted.

how deep down do you put the bait? Also doesn't the current take the float back towards the rocks? Do you keep casting and reeling in slowly? Thanks for the help
