Just bought a new Lowrance for the bow and need recommendations on where to mount the transducer. My Skeeter has a thru hull transducer already mounted for the original bow unit. I am going to put the old unit on the console and just hide the wires and install the new unit. Since I won't be able to swap cables and have a foot control TM, don't know if a TM mount would work. Any help would be great. Thanks.

yes then trolling motor mount will work but most of the time if both x-ducers have the same frequency they can,t be run at the same time but that isn,t usually a problem

Lowrance has adapter cables enableing you to change over most any transducer to fit any Lowrance unit. Like grey connector to black etc. What kind of a troll motor do you have & What about your built in transducers is it in the fwd hull or the aft or both. As long as you are not it too deep of water the units can be turned on the same time .Just as long as the transducer cones don't overlap as to send double signals to each unit. Also do you have a Lowrance flasher in your consol?
