Boy oh boy, Michael. You must be special. They made me pay the $12 shipping on my 334c return.
Think I figured it out now... I needed mine back pretty quick cuz I had a tournament coming up in two weeks at the time. I musta missed out on the free shipping due to my schedule.
I was wondering why I had to pay, your message answered the puzzle. I don't feel so bad.
Wonder if they'll simply exchange yours like they did mine or actually repair it. -ray
Thank God for Texas and the USA!!! - Ray

As I think I have said before, my replacement 334 didn't work any better than the one I got when they first came out and that was the longer it was on, like over 4 hours, it had lost signal more than it had it acquired and this happened on 3 different lakes. So, I asked to send it back for a 332. They sent me a Fed EX label and I sent it back for free and a new 332 came in just a few days with all the necessary wires to install it. I haven't been out since installing except to test turning on in driveway and it worked. Can't wait to test for long period of time one the lake.

I was on Lewisville Lake again today. Had WAAS and 12 sats. I lost signal one time for 5 seconds. I'm very happy with the 332.

I got my shipping label today. I'll be sending it off sometime in the Morn.
Ray, Maybe they have gotten enough complaints that they are covering the shipping, or like you said, you were in more of a hurry then me. I guess we'll see what happens.

After a long day yesterday 06-12-06 of trying to get someone on the phone at lowrance, I finally talked to someone about 4:45pm. The lady told me they were going to replace my 334 with a new one. The first thing out of my mouth was, when will I be recieving it? She said they have been Back ordered and they should be in in the next 2 days. This is my first dealings with Lowrance and their Sonar units. I hope things get alot better, or it may be my last. when you can get their customer service on the phone they are great to deal with, but you almost have to take a day off work just to talk to someone.

Funny thing...
I checked my R/A number on lowrances web site, they shipped my sonar on 06/13. The tracking info says it should be here by Fri eve. If it shows up I might just get the chance to give it a try this weekend.

Thats what I told them on the phone. I said, I paid over $600 for this sonar and could only use it for 3 trips. Now its been out for 3 weeks, thats just about a month that I've owned it and haven't gotten much for my return. How long does it take to send a replacement? They told me they had to put it in line for a bench test and then they were waiting on backorder units. Then they mailed it off the next day, WEIRD. Michael

I bought my 334c back in February at Sportsmans Warehouse in Round Rock. Paid $659.00 dollars for the thing and I must admit it worked great until here recently. A couple of weeks ago on Lake Granger when I turned it on that morning it would not aquire a signal and I could not get the "pages" fuction to work. After about a half hour it got a signal but could never get the pages function to work. Finally was able to bring up the sonar mode but was never able to get the split screen feature. I called Lowrance Monday morning and after a lengthly wait on hold I spoke to the rep and mentioned my problems with the unit. I also mentioned this forum; hey they've heard of some of you guy's :p Ha Ha, anyway they said they would repair the unit and forwarded postage the very next day. I'm sending the unit off tomorrow morning. I will report back in a few days, or as soon as I get my unit back. Sharecropper

My sonar is back... And a day and a half earlier than the tracking number said it would be here.
I shipped it 05/23. They recieved it 05/26. They shipped it back 06/13. I recieved it 06/15.
They said it took a while because my replacement unit was back orderd.
I've only had time to hook it up under the trees in my drive way so far. There was a 32' error, but it locked in in less than 2 minutes. I'm going to try and do some testing with it this weekend. I'll let ya know what happens.

Hey BrokeOne, The Fisherman is working well. I really like this boat, should have bought it years ago. The layout is perfect for the type of fishing I do and it works great taking the kids out with me. Now I need to get the fishfinder repaired so that I can get back to some serious fishing. How's things with you? How's your new boat working? Sharecropper
