Here lately they are the only rod I will buy. Awsome rod. Took my first one to Falcon and used it jigging the brush and trees. I paired it with one of the marked down Curados and the light weight and performance difference is pretty neglegible compared to a G. Loomis. A fishing buddy works part time at my local BPS and he says he has been selling more of these rods latey than most of the other rods in the store. TFO is not a new company they are better know for fly rods.

I bought a 6' MH Saltwater Series spinning rod two weeks ago to use for bass fishing. I fish out of a kayak, which is not always friendly to baitcasters because you often have limited space for gear, and it's easier to cast spinning gear with a paddle on your lap, rods in vertical rodholders right behind you, etc... Spinning rods are easy to cast, and you can cast lighter lures, but I wanted a heavy duty setup so I could also use 1/2 oz. jigs, LC100s, etc... I decided to try a saltwater spinning combo. I paired my TFO rod with a smaller Penn reel.

So far, it's been good. The rod is light, sensitive, and seems to be very durable.
