I was a die hard football fan for over 2-3 decades because I loved the violent nature of the game. Used to know every playes from every teams. But man, I musta be getting old and mellowing down a bit and not into it as much as I used to

WOW...what game were you watching...SPECIAL TEAMS??? I guess somehow you missed the Interception and the Fumbles...One INT and TWO FUMBLEs...not that big of a deal you might say...BUT ITS ALL ABOUT TIMING...when you make a mistake not how many. Lets look at some statistics.

Last night while LOSING ROMO went 23 of 36 for 342. Thats 63.95% 2 TD's 1 INT 2FUMBLES 101.9 Rating

Compared to Carreer Stats where he has 120 TD's 63 INT 27 FUMBLES with 95% Rating.

So what does that all mean. Well last night was an ABOVE AVERAGE performance by Romo and we LOST it also means that Romo has about a 50% chance of LOSING THE BALL as he does scoring with it. Now that last stat is actually not all that ugly if you compare him with other MEDIOCRE Quarterbacks in the League but back to what I was saying originally...ITS NOT THAT HE MAKES MISTAKES...ITS WHEN HE MAKES THEM. HE IS A CHOKER!!! The direct opposite is true of a Great QB...Peyton Manning, Tom Brady these guys can play 3 terrible to mediocre quarters of Football but at the end, in crunch time, with a CHANCE TO WIN...they focus and deliver the goods where ROMO CRUMBLES AND DISAPPOINTS. That may be ok for the Buffalo Bills or the New York Jets or the Washington Redskins to field CHOKING QB's but this is THE DALLAS COWBOYS...AMERICA's team GOD'S TEAM...Do you know why there was a Hole in the Old Texas Stadium and why there can be one in this new Stadium....Its so GOD can watch HIS TEAM PLAY!!!! America's team GOD's team cannot be Quarterbacked by a LOSER LIKE ROMO!!! WE have to do whatever it takes put GREATNESS UNDER CENTER IN DALLAS!!!!!

Then in searching for turnovers by quarter for Romo could not find any stats. Man I'd like to see that stat. He has to have the most in the 4th quarter....

O and Felix had a TD and we had a field goal. 24 total.

Folk had 2 field goals. Total of 20 points.

Deciding factor in game, a blocked punt returned for a TD..

interceptio, fumble, doesn't matter if we don't give up 7 on that punt.. 2 quarter backs, 2 defences, exact games. Loss came from the blocked punt. Not the INT

So you dont think the fumble on the 1 yard line had anything to do with it? even if Romo couldnt get a TD maybe we could have gotten a FG for 3 points. or maybe it was the int when he thought he was throwing to his injured receiver to save the game that cost us the game....your RIGHT Roma had nothing to do with the loss it was everyone else messing up that cost us the game

I will agree no ONE man lost the game. Its a team sport and the TEAM wins or loses...BUT...I do think that the moral, the momentum, the energy, the confidence, etc etc come by and large from the Quarterback. He is the LEADER of the team. He is the HUB of the wheel that all the spokes attach too. GREAT quarterbacks bring out the best of their team mates. BAD Quarterbacks bring out the worst even in hall of fame caliber players. With the fame and notoriety that a quarterback gathers also comes the added pressure of being the fall guy. Its no different than with coaches. Is it always the coaches fault when a team loses.....NO....who is most likely to get blamed regardless....THE COACH...and the Poo rolls down field from there. Well guess what we've gone through our fair share of coaches...its high time we start pointing the finger at the next man in line and that is ROMO!! Yes the blocked punt was crippling....BUT...if ROMO had done his job we wouldn't have been punting in the first place!!!!
