Stripers are moving into some areas that are very fly fishable on Texoma. (1ft to 20ft of water.) All sizes. Water temps have dropped 5 to 6 degrees. The algae scare is eliminating other boats, so you pretty much have them all to yourself. PM or call and I'll tell you were. Sorry, probably going to need a boat to get there. Or at least some serious paddling. Like always, I don't know how long they will stay on this pattern. noidea You can have a blast on a 6 wt. Bill, don't read this post. grin

Ya, he is, was at his place on sunday. He let the girls come up and feed his goats and chickens. At that time he wasn't sure when he was going to get his boat up there. But I know you guys have a trip planned in early OCT for 6 Soldiers from the WTU. He is really looking forward to it.

Couple weeks ago out of his stock pond. Both with 6wt AXIOM. Bill's is the smaller one. LOL not really both were about the same size, 13-14" out of his stock pond. Just the way I was able to take it with my phone. Only double that day.

Thanks for the generous heads-up.

Might be a mite breezy today (24 September 2011) for the SS Minnow on Texocean, but that shallowish pattern sounds mighty interesting. Are some fish still on that pattern, or have they all sounded to the depths of the abyss?
