I was just curious as to how many on the TFF Crappie regulars are from Louisiana even if you have lived there for part of your life, mother dad or grandparents, are native. the motivation was more and more as I fish the lakes we find more transplants here. I know some quite a few that read but don't post, but this was a friendly shout out or roll call, it don't matter we all ugly anyway.

I was in Louisiana for about 15 minutes while going to Millwood a couple of years ago with DaveB. Does that count?

My Dad was a Mississippi native and I grew up with Cajun food. My aunt lived in The French Quarter until she died and I have to yet eat as good of Fried Fish as she used to make us. I can eat Crawfish until they are gone and yes I suck them heads until their eyeballs pop. That's where the flavor is. No I'm not from there but most of my friends that live down there claim me.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

My dad was from New Iberia. I grew up in "Pt. Artuuuur", way back when u could get fresh boudin daily at most every corner store. Fished Lake Sabine (Texas & La. sides), the Jetties, Cow Bayou, Taylors Bayou in Port Acres for "white perch", and bout every ditch holding water. As a teenager, water skiied on Taylors Bayou behind my buddy's 12 ft. Arkansas Traveler n 10 h.p. Johnson. (Prolly take a 100 h.p. to pull me today! haha!) My dad retired at DamB. Fished Sandy Creek, East and West Logjam, and Forks of Neches/Angelina areas. Bringin' back lots o' memories here, Pat; thanks for the idea!
