I got mine at Cabelas, but read this post if you are buying it for so called "HD" lakes like Lewisville, Ray Roberts, or Eufala.

I was at Cabelas on Sunday (2-12-06).They had the new Navionics card.(2006 for $149.95--Premium-South)I had them put it in a demo graph. It was very disappointing to see the upper end of Ray Roberts,Lewisville, and Grapevine lakes OUTLINED only.If you don't fish these lakes maybe the card will do for you.

rudapa - shipper says it will be at my door today. I hope to use it in a tourney down on Buchanan in a couple weeks. I will let you know. I bought it since it has several lakes I fish and I have already seen last year's chip that a friend of mine owns. I was just waiting on the new chip for my first purchase - I was glad to see the drop in price.

I have only fished Ray Roberts and Lewisville a couple times so that is not too much of a concern for me...but I can see if those were my home lakes that I would be upset if the product really does not have the detail that was advertised.

I hope this all this works out for the Lewisville/Ray Roberts fishermen...keep pressing on guys.

I hear you. I bought it for the same reason - additional lakes over the Hot Spots Elite and the HD for Fork. Fork looks like it is HD by my hand held. If my home lakes were R. Roberts, Lewisville, or Eufala - then yes I'd be fit to be tied that I paid $149 for the incomplete coverage they call "High Definition". I also note that they have not come on here to explain themselves either. rolleyes

II spoke to a salesperson at BPS and he said that the lowrance is coming out with a new version with more lakes for a cool $150 and if you have the old one you can download the other lakes for a small fee.
