There is a stump right past the last buoy before you get to the power lines in Birch. I did not GPS it but it is right after the buoy going straight toward the power line. I would suggest shutting down before the last buoy and idle past the stump.

thanks for head up on stump. We also were told that there 's a stump out in one of the boat lanes and I can't remember location. Just take care on the lake. We seeing people on their ski-doos. Not sure this is a good time to be out here on them. We are seeing stumps around boat house that we never knew existed. Of course, shoreline is way down and we are getting education for sure. Be safe.

And there is one just south of the 514 bridge, even with the roadbed. So becarefull getting up on plane after you go under the bridge headed South, its right of the bouy! thumbAlso the stump in the middle of Birch just past the first big point on the right is starting to show aswell! And I would'nt run on the bank side of the bouy off the last point before the bridge headed North,I'm hitting stuff with my trolling motor there. They put that bouy way to close to the point there!

Haven't been in Birch for a while, so how are they biting in there these days?

Chuck and Perry call that stump in Birch their "Money Maker"!!!

Once, last time the lake was down, I had stopped by to visit with Chuck. While we were BSing, 2 boats came in, one just minutes right after the other. Both boats had hit the same stump going into Birch, not at the same time, mind you.

Weird coincidence.

When you come south from the 2946 bridge and turn right at the buoy stay left of the line because I was fishing the hump yesterday dead in line with the first two buoy's and waving over because theres a big stump just under the water. I've hit my share on fork.

This might have been the one I saw yesterday sticking up about 2" above the water line there was another boat coming in on the left side so I stayed on the right not more than 5 feet of the bouy and saw the stump about another 5 foot to my right eeks talk about splitting hairs scared
