The Original Jellyworm started a whole craze on big Sam and Toledo Bend back in early 70's. One of the best worms ever made. I like the ten inch grape.

Smell lasts forever too! I have some Blueberry ones that are 30+ years old and they still smell good enough to eat them.

I've only seen the 10"-12" on the shelf lately but they used to have shorter ones also. Lots of flavors/colors. That 10" grape has put a lot of fish in my boat too. Mann's Jellyworm and the old Fliptails were probably the two most popular back then.

The great thing is they are durable and next to my Power worms they caught more bass than anything else I have used. But that may change since im switching to the Hags.

The grape 12" works great at night.
You know the old saying
If it floats, flys, or f___s it is always cheaper to rent!
You have to decide which is more important.

Oh yes, I knew they still made them, I just meant I haven't seen them on the shelf at stores much. Of course all we have locally in big box stores is Academy and Walmart. Only get to BPS, Cabelas or GM when on a trip somewhere.

One way to rig them is to use a long off set hook and before you put the point through the work run the worm up past the eye of the hook and onto the line then run the worm up the line 3-4 inches. This helps me increase my hook up ratio.

C-rigged a 12 incher on Fork most of the summer looking for that really big bite. Didn't catch a giant, but didn't catch one smaller than 4. I rigged it with a 6/0 Trokar swimbait hook.

Had a grape jelly worm fall thru the defroster vent in a new 78 chevy, got to where I hated to see winter coning on.
