Almost 9 foot low. Be careful just under the north side of the 36 Bridge. Took out my lower unit Sunday.

The lake is 9 feet low and dropping. Be careful out there. Water temperature is holding at 88 degrees and the water color is cloudy. Fish the stick-ups in 10 to 15 feet of water. A Texas Rigged soft plastic seems to be working the best right now. Good Luck.

Thanks Skeeter. Is that lake bad with pleasure boaters?

Well, started late and did not get there till 8:30am. Got to my firt stop, made a cast and a guy on his trolling motor trolls over and says, I need some help, I am in a bind. In his left hand was a 10" bass with the front treble hook ingulfed in his mouth and the rear treble hook ingulfed in his right hand!! OUCH!! He could not let the fish go because it flopped around and caused him a lot of pain. So, took out the needle nose, got the fish off. took the hook of the crank bait, then asked him if he had ever heard of the string trick. He said yes and asked if I had ever done it. "Nope, but watched a lot about it. Long story short, it worked great!! I was very impressed. He said that it didn't hurt a bit and there was no blood. Pretty cool deal. Now I know I can do it.
By the way...graphed most the day, could not really find the fish, but ended up being a pretty cool day.

Thanks for the kind words Freeman, yet I think everyone I have met bass fishing would do the same. I was running late so I figure God put me there at that time. That guys hands were tied so to speak. Going out in the morning and try again. Any help would be appreciated. Caught two on cranks last sat. and did not get a bump on a tx rig.

Had a better day than last time. Found some fish. Several small ones and a couple of three pounders. Got a bait to work pretty good. No surgery to perform today! Going again next wed. Really got to look at the electronics today and found some fish. Learn the lake pretty well. Went through a tank of gas.

+1 on helping out. I have been in a similar situation. Never fun trying to deal with a ticked off bass while a treble is in deep.
