I can't get the pic to show up. can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've tried reading some of the other threads on how to do it, but I'm still not having any luck. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Okay, I'm assuming you have your picture you want to post on the TFF Share Album. Before you do anything, make sure the file name on the picture you want to post is 8 or less alpha/numeric (xxxxxxxx.jpg). If it is more than that, rename it to something with 8 or less characters in the file name. Then, here's what you do.

1. Pick on the picture in the share album you want to post. It will enlarge when you do that.
2. With your cursor over the enlarged picture, click once on the right mouse button and a screen will appear. Pick on "Properties".
3. Another window will open showing the string of jargon that makes up the picture. Hilite the string of jargon out to where it ends in ".jpg". DO NOT hi-lite anything after the .jpg.
4. With the cursor over the hi-lited string, right click and a screen will pop up. Pick "Copy".
5. Close/minimize the TFF share album and go to the TFF forum site and thread and select "Post reply" and sign in. Then click in the open window to reply and paste the string.
6. Put [img] in front of the string with no spaces, then put [/img] behind the string with no spaces ().
7. Submit reply and it should take.

OK look I will finish this.............It is my understanding that you have to post your pics at a different web site to get them to show up here I fooled around with this for a long time before I figured it out

OK. I tried all that before I posted this. On the TFF share album page, I uploaded my pic to a new folder/gallery.

I tried right-clicking on the pic and got a drop down menu. Problem is that there is no PROPERTIES choice on it. Also the name of my pic is KEVIN3.jpg so it's under the 8 letter length limit. And before you say it... Yes I am on the big picture, not the thumbnail.

Are you saying I need to post it somewhere other than the TFF share album?

I tried it from my Yahoo My Pictures folder, but that didn't work either. At least with Yahoo I got a link that included the picture's filename. I never could get a valid link from TFF share album.

Jimin8r, thanks for posting the pic, but I'd really like to figure out what I'm doing wrong so that I can post them myself. What did you do differently?

Hey Kevin, all I did was follow Redfin's instructions, the only thing a little tricky is the Properties is at the very bottom of the list when you right-click on the picture and can be easy to overlook.

OK guys. I figured out what the problem was. First off I want to say that I'm not a complete idiot. I know that the PROPERTIES is always at the bottom of the drop down menu. What I didn't know is that my SBC Yahoo browser (which is supposed to be Internet Explorer) does NOT give the same drop menu as the REAL Internet Explorer. The SBC browser gives me three options when I right click on the picture:

1.Save Picture As
2.Copy
3.Add Bookmark

I'm not sure how Netscape would handle the drop down menu either, but I think it would be similar to IE. Thanks for all the help guys.

make sure you reference the file by the exact file name, and yes it is case sensitive. I've had problems with my machine putting things in uppercase and unless you link to the file by the exact name it won't work. There is a difference between (image.jpg) and (IMAGE.JPG) Keep everything either one way or the other and you shouldn't have problems.
