I just purchased a Hummingbird fish finder to run on my trolling motor, the unit worked great for what i wanted it for, water temp, depth. But the last time i was out i dropped the trolling motor and turned on my unit and it said transducer not connected, so i unplugged it and re-plugged it back in but still saying the same thing. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Mayby a bad transducer? It worked on the last 3 trips but this last one nothing, i just put a new cover on the front where my trolling motor plugs in, i might have screwed the wire down or drilled threw it, i'll check to tomorrow. Thanks

Check to see if the cable got pinched in the trolling motor bracket. Mine did, aznd even though it wasn't all the way through, it broke the internal wires.
