My alarm went off today....while I was showing the boat to a guy who was about to buy it. It was an intermittent alarm that went off every few minutes. When the boat was on plane at about 3500 rpm it went continuos for a few seconds. Above 4000 rpm the motor would start to slow down.

1. My main oil reserve is very low so that is part of the problem
2. The oil tank on the engine was completely full
3. Water pressure was good and had a good stream of water coming from the engine.

HELP....this couldn't have happened at a worse time.
