OP Paparon TFF Team Angler P Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 3,129 Rowlett, TX	Planning to go Sat to LOP and just got a call from a buddy telling me it's closed because helicopters are pulling water from it to fight the wildfires. I called to US Forest there and the guy I talked to confirmed that but said that started yesterday and they should open the ramps again probably tomorrow. Just a FYI in case anyone else has plans there this weekend or has any more info about it.

Air tankers and helis are using pines for air drops on the Bear Creek fire. Check out the video of the tanker operations.
