Legends are very good boats and in my opinion the easiest boat to drive. Those things fly out of the hole.

A couple of years ago I traded a 1992 Ranger 372V with a 150 mariner and a brand new trolling motor on it. I have a feeling it would be worth as much now as when I got rid of it. I just needed a bigger boat and opted for a 2 year old BassCat Pantera 4. If you can find an older Ranger or Champion (18 Ft minimum) that hase been garage kept, and then have a local dealer check it out for you before you lay down the cash, thats the way to buy a first boat.

Get the biggest boat you can afford and get one that has the proper horse power, this will help with gas consumtion and also help a lot for resale.
Have a good mechanic check out any that you are interested in buy, there are many good mechanics that post here on TFF regularly.
Good Luck!!
