I headed down to Gruene, TX on Tuesday. Luckily for me I enjoy wading in the water as much as enjoying catching tons of fish, cause that was the extent of my trip. I missed the hook set on the only fish that bit during my 2 hours there before it go too dark to see. River flow was nothing more than a slow creep and I was never more than waist deep in the middle. If anyone knows a place where I might have better luck I'm all ears.

Calling Fly Fishing a hobby is like calling Brain Surgery a job.

If you are from the area try the comal in the park area for smallmouth and large pan fish.
