I would like to go to every Fun-N-Sun 300 tourney but I choose to skip the ones on Whitney because Lakeside Village is a poor choice for holding it. I don't know why the tournament isn't moved out to a bigger part of the lake where so mant boats have the room they need to come and go without having to all squeeze into a channel to get thru there. Does anyone else agree?

your boat is small, you should not have a problem and your fishing the water not the ramp lot. find something else to complain about, i believe you just need to find some fish and you wont care how many come out, I have three words to say: SHUT-UP AND FISH!!!!

 Lakeside wouldn't be my choice either, but I don't think its too bad. Which ramps would you suggest?

Yes it is out of Harbor Master Marina the Lake Whitney Views posts an ad on it and lists a contact name of Mike Hutyra 254-749-2508. Hours are 6am with weigh in from 2-3pm with a $30 entry fee optional $5 for big bass.
