I spent from sunup to 4 pm on RR yesterday. Jordan Park ramp was unsuable. Waves were crashing over the docks. Launched at Buck Creek with no problems. Fished mainly 10 ft or less. Water temp was 80 +/- 3 degrees. I only caught 5 or 6 fish and nothing too big. They just didn't seem to be cooperative. The wind however kept me from hitting some of my favorite "off shore" locations. I mainly stuck to the coves.
I think conditions will improve over the next few weeks when the bass realize that water temps are actually coming down.

put in at Isle Du Bois yesterday - fished grass in 3' to 15' with cranks (med dive sexy shad) and W/R flukes.
biggest went 4 but most fish were in the 2-3 lbs range
RR has been so tough lately, we were pretty happy. Water temp a couple of weeks ago was 88 or so, last night it was 79 at dusk.....should help as this week progresses

Thanks, I am fishing it for the time on the tenth, got a few spots picked out on the map,and was looking at the sattelite photo. Was curious what the vegetation was looking like, and what type.also curious to find out what techniques where working best. If you have any more info,it would be much appreciated!

If you're fishing the BCFW tourney this weekend, I'll see ya there! RR has been tough the last couple of years, but this year especially.

most of the grass in sand branch is now too matted to fish or on dry ground ...still alot of sparse grass growing out to deeper water but the fish seem to be keying in on rocks and timber more now than the grass like they were earlier in the year

What ramp is that club using? I was thinking of fishing there Saturday, and want to stay out of the way.
