over 3pounds damn that's big :P Should be good fight on light tackle . I am just waiting for a good rain to visit my local pond . They have some huge gills too .
I mentioned on other thread about another local community lake it's almost gone now .

I call those Big Male Rios "Bulls"! They look just like those big old Brahmas with those huge humps and big shoulders!  That fish must have put up one heck of a fight!  Again a super catch on a super fish!

Tun3R: Yes sir I do think a 3 pound Rio would put up one heck of a fight. Heck a half pound Rio will put up a super fight.  All in all they are a super fighting fish and fun to catch.  Gitter: I know what you mean about the Rios looking like Brahmas. Big Brahmas Bulls.

"Gitter" Yes sir Brahmas they are! "Roofish" Paper work was sent into Parks and Wildlife Saturday. It usually takes two weeks.  "DR" One of these days we gotta hit a lot of these spots. Work Schedual is somewhat crazy and I usually fish when I get the down time.  Thanks guys again for the replies.
