Got to the lake at sunrise with My Dad, our friend Steve, his son, Logan and myelf. We tried trolling in front of Rattle Snake Island getting about 15. We moved to the buoys and tried trolling north of there with nothing to show. We noticed the boat show and decided to join in. best move of the day. The water was boiling like crazy off and on. We estimated the fish count between 50 and 70. This was Logan's first fishing trip on a boat and he can't wait to get back on the water.

Were they about mid-main-lake? Just for future refrence I've started at lower unit island in the morning and found 'em on the south side. Then as the day went on they seemed to move slowly south to just about east of the dam. That's a good time just following and tearin 'em up. Glad ya'll had a good time!

wise county park ....the concrete ramps are closed
you can still put in off the banks using the dirt ramps

the ramp at the dam....
is still good although the dock is completely out of the water
there are a lot of shallow areas so be carefull

the ramps at the bridge...
are still good be careful when launching on the ramp closest to the floating gas dock... dont get to close to the edge it has a steep drop off

lake is around 16' low

as of friday after noon no water was being released...

It does suck, but that means we can take notes of where channels are in creeks, see structure we normaly wouldn't, and we can see where the island is on the main body of the lake.
