Lol. Yes it would. I've had a hard time on plastics lately although most people are buying wat red lizards????? and zoom ole monsters. Fortunately I don't mind fishing the Ribbits. BTW you are right, regular frogs are also working well although I dont throw them because of the bad hook up ratio plus I like casting heavier stuff. Thanks for all the info really appreciate it. I was hoping you would say "Oh yeah the Spros are amazing and I throw them every cast!!!" so I could justify paying 9$ for these damn things lol. I bought some ribbits to try out though. Thanks!

I will be there this weekend with my daughter. Don't get to fish with her as much now that she is Jr High.
She caught a 6+ throwing a frog on Ivie about 3 weeks ago. We went to Amistad for Father's Day and she caught a couple 4 pounders punching grass. So needless to say she is pumped about going this weekend.
We will be the Aqua green/yellow Champion boat having all the fun.
Fishing is Fishing not Catchin

Academy has got to love my trips to Amistad! lol tell me about it. Avg $ for Allen Henry = 20$ Avg $ for Amistad = 100$ lol damnit! Oh well you know how it goes. You get out there and they are biting that ONE lure and you run out of it.

long drive from lubbock bro About 5 1/2 hours. I mean it's really the best lake that's the closest. We leave our boat down there during the summer so it's not such a toll to drive it back and forth.

We are headed there tomorrow. Staying at Amistad Acres. See ya there. Couple of weeks ago bigger fish came out of 20'trees mid afternoon. Got some new baits in and ready to get on the water.

We will be in a white Kenner CC. if you see us don't hesitate to give us a shout. We will be probably on the east side of hwy 90. Staying at the Hampton in Del rio.
