I wanted to give everyone a heads up on a Kayak Sale going on right now.
I was speaking with Mike at Mariner Sales this afternoon and he wanted to get the word out that they have a ton of 2012 models on the way to their store. He said that they are starting to clearance out the 2011's in stock.
He wanted everyone to know that the current kayaks in the show room are being marked WAY down. partyon
If you've been on the fence about getting a new ride this may be the time to give them a call.

The wife and I took 2 of their 2010 Manta Ray 14s off of their hands last weekend. They provide good service, and they do make it easy to part with your money.

Welcome aboard, Steve, and congrats on joining the Kayak Fishing Nation. How long have you been lurking?

For those who don't know, Steve and I work together, and I didn't even know he fished.

Mariner Sails does not carry Ocean Kayaks but we do have Malibus which are very comparable. In our current inventory are two Mini-X's (11 Blue & 1 Sand), a Stealth 14, and an Extreme. Not only are the showroom boats on sale but every in-stock boat and demo too. The prices must be good as our demo Pro Angler our demo Revo, and our last new 2011 Revo went out the door today.

The store is now closed for the Labor Day weekend but will re-open on Tuesday morning at 9 am. Call me for details and pricing at 972/241-1498. Regular hours are weekdays 9-6 and 10-4 on Saturday.

Happy long weekend to all...Mike

Thanks Bert! I've been focusing on hunting for several years and fishing has taken a back seat since I sold my kicker boat. These kayaks may ignite the fire again. We paddled around Marine Creek reservoir this morning and I wet a line a few times, but mostly just to figure out where I want my rod holders. Found out one of my spinning rods is broken, so guess I'll be buying fishing gear too!

Hey Steven. I think that per the kayak manufacture they aren't allowed to post prices after they get down so low.
I'm sure if you gave them a call they would be happy to shoot you a price though.
Friday afternoon I had to take my Outback back to them with a small issue I have been having. I have to say that I was impressed with how quickly Mike resolved the problem and got me back on my way.
Now if I can just talk them in to opening a Satellite store here on Ray Roberts. LOL!!!!
