So been havin trouble with my motor loosing prime. I have to keep pumping the bubble after i start it to keep it running untill i have it runnin pretty fast then normally its good but sometimes when im trolling it will die if i let it idle too long. figured its either bad bubble, sometimes it feels wierd like its not doin anything or bad fuel pump. decided to replace the bubble and fuel line and i ran into some trouble. the new one i bought has the quick connect on both ends where as my boat only had it at the motor at the tank it was on a nipple coming out of a 90*. turns out the nipple was a check valve. found out when i snapped it off trying to unscrew it from the 90. now i cant get the 90 out of the tank. not sure what im up against or whats in the tank. i can get it to move back an forth a little but it doesnt want to unscrew. I got the lock nut thing you can see in the picture loose but not havin anyluck with the 90 or the whole assy. Anybody got any words of wisdom on what i should do next dont want to break anything else. thanks. pic in next post.

It looks like a plastic tank. Mine is just a plastic thread. This should just unscrew; but if it's misthreaded, which could easily happen, stick a flathead screwdriver under the nut and apply upward pressure while unscrewing it. it should come out. This doesn't have to be a tight seal, except to keep water and other contaminates out.
