Alot of mine are discontinued....cuz thats when I buy them..... when they hit 60-75 % off

I have had it happen twice
First time was with the old green Curado's
Then a couple of years later it was the Chronarch MG's
I have just started stockpiling them when I can find them.

yep, green shimano curados (the old 119 dollar kind) don't forget you had to get the 5:1.1 and 3:8.1 versions of that reel were the absolute best out there.

Discontinuing the Old Green Curado, by a bean counter, has killed Shimano. Was the best reel of that type on the market forever. The story was that their dies were worn out--MAKE NEW ONES.

X2 Silver Calcuttas - Especially the 100 - Most reliable small round baitcaster for me; My 100 has seen 12+yrs. of double duty:Salt&Fresh.
