I am looking to take my dad up to Texoma for some good striper fishing whenever this algae problem clears up. We used to go out with Gary Stewart out of Tanglewood, but I heard he passed away a few years ago. I was wondering if you could recommend some reasonably priced and experienced guides for a morning guided trip on Texoma? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

JD Lyle is the best! www.texomaguide.com

Was just out with him last week as the algae was starting. It didnt effect the fishing as we did very well.
This was my third time with JD Lyle so far this year and he never seems to dissapoint + he has some great cabins to stay in if your planning on staying overnight

Lots of good guides on Lake Texoma. Another one is Big Ben's Fishing Guide Service. Bennie Randles 903-786-2237. My wife and I have been out with him several times. Great guide.

I've fished lures with JD every time we have fished together.
He is also a great live bait fisherman.

Guys don't misunderstand me... JD is an awsome guide.
I have worked directly with Chris . And I didn't mean he just uses live bait either.
Come on guys..no need to defend jd, he's great.
No harm intended. Please

I was just texted, not a word, but that Texoma would be closed to swimming and Jet skies on Labor Day. Anyone heard the same thing?
