My son, Taylor, and I have been members of the Helotes Bass Club for 3 years. Last October, Taylor participated in a Texas BASS Federation Youth Tournament. Taylor won in the 15-18 year old age group. This has qualified him to represent the state of Texas by fishing in the Jr. Bassmaster World Championship in July 2005 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. We are reaching out to the bass clubs in San Antonio and surrounding areas for kids who would like to be a part of a Jr. Bassmaster club here in San Antonio. We need a minimum of 6 kids to start a club. For the 2004 activities, go to www.texas-bass.com and open youth events. If you have anyone in your club that would be interested, please have them contact me. We look forward to getting this club started very soon. hedehogsrus Pro Angler H Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 803	as the President of Helotes Bass Club I will say that this young man is very dedicated to the sport of fishing at the age of 16 he and his father at members in excellent standing with our club and we are happy to represent anything this young man does,if you have young members in your club and would like for them to be part of the youth club please contact Terry above as they are very organized and should be able to build a stong club for our up comming youth's. We have the largest club in the state and consist of over 20 members and growing quickly. IF your son is interested in attending SFASU then shoot me an email and I will talk to yall about our Team. We fish American Bass Anglers tournaments for free through a scholarship program called CAST. Just wanted to let yall know in case he is pursuing bass fishing as a serious part of his life. I am also wanting to fish BASS as I get better. Shoot me an email if you are interested. We should have an internet site in a month or so. Good luck with the SAN AN club.
