 I hate the Spook lure

I bought my first one today... and hate it.
I caught 5 dinks in a row. It seems to be a lure that attracts the dinks. I will hate it for now, until it catches some quality fish.
I can't think of a particular situation where a spook is a "must have". I am catching a higher quality of fish on other things. Never caught this many dinks before, and don't want to either.

I wish I liked it more. I love all my lures, except this one. I will use it again tomorrow.
But come on, this lure is way to much work only to let the dinks feel like "I GOT THIS ONE!"
If a dink attacks it again... I am going back to my jig and big trailer.
Quality not quantity.

i liek the spook with the rattle inside it caught alot of morning fish on joe pool with one but they do catch small fish but every now and the u catch some big ones.

sgd, a Zara Spook is one of THE finest topwater lures ever designed. Get a 6 or 6.5 ft rod and learn how to "walk the Dog."
It's one of the basics of Bass fishing you should learn.

If all you are catching with it is dinks, consider this. You it as a fish locator. Then throw a frog!

That's what I have fouzman, just a little disappointed with it compared to my buzzbait.
I won't give up on it yet, but G&#D#*(@ I hated it today.

We have been killing them on the bigger spook here in arkansas the past few weeks. mainly on the lakes with grass in them, but also a few fish on them at beaver.

Love me some super spooks. Caught my first topwater fish on one. Try adding a split ring to the line ring. Gives it more action.
You know the old saying
If it floats, flys, or f___s it is always cheaper to rent!
You have to decide which is more important.
