We haven't done one of these in a while. But there is hope that it might start cooling off sometime in the future.

So, is there any interest in a casting get together in McKinney during September? Like the previous ones we've done, it will be a very informal get together and everyone is welcome. We'll cast for an hour or so and then maybe meet somewhere for a burger.

Any interest? I'm thinking either Sept 10 or 24.

Count me in Rex - the last one was the most fun I have ever had at a casting event - getting to know know more folks and watching Jerry and Robin casting tight hairpin shaped loops thru hula-hoops with 2wt flyrods ... cool
Learned a lot from you Rex, watching you turn a beginner into a flycaster in an amazing short period of time.
Thanks!

For any of you guys asking about learning to flycast - don't miss this event!!!

Hello, I am new to this BB but I have been fly fishing for about 5 years. I would love to learn from seasoned professionals. As for the date my preference is 24th. Sept 10 I will be out of town.
thanks

Sounds like fun to me. I like to put faces on names and play with others toys.

Have fun with this stuff.

Hash out some details, and I'll see if I can make it. It sounds like a lot of fun.

The location will be Town Lake Park in McKinney. This park is located on Hwy 75 behind the movie theater so it is easy find.

Mike, in the past was have done them in the morning about 9 or 10. But if you are interested in coming, we could move it so that it doesn't comflict with your BPS class.

Everyone, would you be willing to meet Saturday evening rather than morning, if it meant we'd have more instructors available?

I prefer the morning, but I'm flexible. Either the 10th or 24th is fine.
