When I was last down there, and mind you I am no expert, I caught specs on silver catch 2000, gulp shrimp under a popping cork and bass assassin in chicken on a chain. This was on the beach between rollover pass and crystal beach, closer to rollover pass.

I fish on a 14 ft piece of plastic.

Live shrimp, Gulp shrimp (new penny), and spoons, while wading. If relaxing on the beach drinking a beer, cut croaker.

I have a bunch of old ones, that were my dads. I have started using some Johnson Minnow and Sprite. Havent been in the thick with them yet, but hopeing to find schooling reds next weekend and see what kind of damage they can do. Acahemy has H&H Lure Secret Surf Spoon - Gold on sale for 1.99. They may be worth a try.
