I bet the water is kinda 'rich' but flowing
and here are my crappy notes

also the TFF bank forum covers this area under various posts, I've included one

go read this till you puke

http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/4677775/130

and then bing satellite and this'll make sense

- the gun range has walking wading areas, working upstream gets you to the 190 bridge
- Under firewheel and down stream has 1/4 mile + of wade depth - curb bump and park S E of the bridge
- behind and N of the mall has great spotty access
- West of the mall at 67 ? has jeep road and 'walk over the RR tracks' access

- BUT -

MOST FUN IS getting a mountain bike and just riding between the Firewheel Mall way west and way east and to the 190 bridge. The area has dirt roads and gives a quick tour of all the area

- after you like the bike, and your Testosterone is up -
THEN go south on centerville to rowlett creek park's 16+ miles of mountain bike trails, and STOP fishing, and have the time of your life, single track riding a mountain bike riding on a super fabulous groomed dallas club trail !

Unless you are wearing a grass skirt and sleeping in a ditch and eating only road kill, you too are part of 'the problem'.

In October or so (cooler temps ) I'll be glad to lead a bike tour that runs from Miller N to 67 plus a mile, if anyone wants to ride that much. Dirt roads mainly, some flat trail, 1200 ft of awesome single track mountain bike rollercoaster trail.
