Wife gave me choice of guide trip of my choice. I debating Fork or Falcon. I know what guide I would use if I went to Fork . But need help with Faclon. Still on the fence about both of them. Might save it for Dale hollow smallmouth trip when I visit my folks. Who a good guide down there in Faclon? Or do you even need a guide? I thinking around December 1st to go catch a bigun. Any thoughts?

Take her to Big Cedar Lodge near Branson. This is an awesome place. Eric Prey guides on Table Rock. Hire him and tell him I sent ya. Great guy. You won't catch any 10 pounders but it will be a much more enjoyable trip for the wife.

Sounds like you've got a heck of a wife who is a great gift picker outer, lol. I don't think you will go wrong with either lakes. Also I would look into what Ken was talking about. The Cedar lodge and Table Rock lake trip will be a great experince that will envolve a ton of things for both you and your wife to enjoy together.

Dale Hollow is a fantastic place to fish.A buddy of mine and i stayed there last year during the flood in Tennessee. The cabins on the hill overlooking the lake are great, the restaurant is right there by the cabins and has good food.We had a 3 day guided trip with Huel Boles out of Celina,TN #931-397-3360.He is retired from the engineers on Dale Hollow so he knows some secret places. He was absolutely worth every penny we spent there.Plus its nice when you are able to catch smallmouth in the 5-7lb class and have potential to catch larger! Best of Luck! I will be going back in the spring of 2012.

What a blessing you have. Falcon all the way. A bit more but better chances at DD or a 30 lb sack IMO.
