Had my Jeep broke into at the ramp off 820 sometime between 4:30 - 10:00 am .Busted out the side window on my hard cap. They didn`t get anything worth taking the dumbaaas.A carrying bag and some cleaning stuff that i could have used now on the mess they made. Why take a chance of going to jail over something your not sure that it`s worth anything.Had someone else`s glass on the parking lot also .But they never called the cops to report it.
Maybe if if a report had been made this wouldn`t had happen. That area is now covered by Fort Worth police. No Lake Patrol and we still have to pay for permits .If something bad happens out on the lake now your just ---- out of luck.

So what do they pay the Lake Patrol officers for? Sounds like they are having coffee at that time. That ramp is terrible when it comes to thieves. I usually launch near the Lake patrol office past Sandy beach.

We had more break in's at the Casino Beach Ramp(next to the lake Patrol Office) in one year that we've had in 3 years of tournaments at 820. . In years past the Marshalls were all over the place, this year it does seem like they arent patrolling nearly as much during the week.

Knock on wood,my trucks never been broken into at either ramp.My wife fishes with me quite a bit on LW,i have to stay on her case to not leave anything and i mean anything visible in plain view of looking threw the windows, not even a phone charger.I think it could happen on any lake and on any ramp, not just LW.

There is no Lake Patrol officers anymore .That`s a thing of the past and that means if anything happens out on the water your on your own untill someone gets their from another town. That`s why the stickers go on the trailers now . The ramp on rt.199 is closed so they can make it suitable for bigger boats.
