I was looking to take my kid and brother out to Texoma Fri or Sat morning for a couple of hours. After looking at the Reports I am assuming that slabs are still working? I was wondering: A. The best place to Launch for someone coming from the Denton area. B. Not asking for spots, and will assume that everyone will tell me to look for the boatshow, but how deep should I be looking for and what colors? Any help would be more than greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You wont find any boat shows.. not much traffic out there lately... Ive been fishing and most days havent seen more than three boats on the whole lake..
I would launch at highport and work your way north and east.. behind the islands are millions of schooling fish but mostly smal..but there are some good ones mixed in.

Check out moes tackle shop.. any slab he sells will work.. color doesnt matter.. small slabs will catch alot of smaller fish and bigger 2 oz slabs will get fewer but better fish.
Work the river ledges north of highport.. ive been finding most fish in 25-40 foot of water running the rocks.
I would also chunk some cocomoes from moes tackle along the rocks as well..surfacing fish have not been hitting top water plugsfor me but running a small coho 6 inches under the surface is deadly

He goes in to detail on lures.

Good luck out there.
