So I watched a vid on youtube the other day where a pro guide was using cut shad and spraying a red spray from a bottle on the cut shad. Any of you guys ever use any spray attractant on cut bait? If so, do you notice a increase in bites/hookups? And any particular brands? Thanks in advance!

Works for all catfish..but I can really get into the channel cats with it.

I use the Dead Red Blood Spray on just about every piece of shad or cut bait in my boat. I typically use about 1/3 to 1/2 a bottle per trip. That's spraying anywhere from 100-200 baits in a 5 hour trip. Most folks probably won't go through it as fast as I do. At $4.50 a bottle it can turn a tough day into a decent day or good day into a great day of catching. It's still no miracle. You won't catch fish if you don't put the right bait in the right spot at the right time.

I always use it. On atleast half the poles I put out.
