Well, starting Monday, my oldest child started school. Now for at least the next 13-17 years he will be a student. Its just crazy how fast kids grow up, I can remember as clear as day the delivery room and him being born.

Anyways...here is me and my wife with him first day.

congrats on a big day

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

Congrats. He looks like he is ready to get after it. My daughter started jr high this week. It goes too fast. I know in a blink of an eye and she will be gone. Enjoy it.

Congrats!

My one and only just started school this past Monday.
He's 5 and starting Kindergarten.

Like J-2 said, "I wish I could tap the brakes". There were a lot places that I wanted to take him to, but it all just went too fast frown

Yep doesn't seem like the years go by that fast, however it does. Next thing you are buying a car so he can go off to college. Best advice I can give you is spend a lot of time with him, because you will wake up one day and wonder where time went.

All fishermen are legends in their own minds! Ranger Boats, Yamaha Outboards, Humminbird Electronics,Motor guide, and all the tackle in the world.

Yup, Im definitely trying to spend time with him as much possible. The 1st day of school, as he was walking away to his class, I was trying my best not to shed tears....

Its a neat deal, it helps that I am a teacher and a coach here where he goes. He rides with me, and its about a 25 minute drive, we talk about fishing, things of that nature, and how to rescue the world.

Ha, thanks for all the comments.
