Thinkin about taking girlfriend's son to fish this weekend. I do not have a boat nor if i did , do i think I could launch it due to the lake level at the ramp I sen a couple weeks ago.

Can anyone give any pointers about fishing from bank?

take him to the pond behind home depot in waxahachie. I went monday and I only caught 2 but its a nice spot.

This is the lowest I have ever seen this spot, I have to remember where those humps are when it comes back up.

Monday was my 1st time their but I could see it was way down but still seems to be in pretty good shape compared to some places.

there seem to be alot of signs around there that say no fishing....but not behind home depot....they wont mess with you for fishing there?

I parked on a little dirt area behind best buy and fished for a few hours one morning. I thought the signs meant not to go around in front of the apartment complexes. No one said anything to me. Waxahachie is pretty big. People fishing that pond is probably the last thing on the cops mind but I think its legal anyway.

did you do any good? i was wondering if it was a good as people say?

I only caught 2 but it was in late August so I figure the heat was a factor. I just havent been back because its an hour from me and their are so many other places closer to where I live.
