Sunday morning was another good one on Cedar Creek. We chased the bigger fish for the first couple of hours keeping 13 hybrids. Unfortunatly we lost 4 at the side of the boat which hardly ever happens but it did today. After catching the hybrids and a few sandbass we spent an hour crappie fishing before heading to the dock about 10:15 per request.
The sndies were stacked good in 12ft of water. The hybrids were hitting the surface over about the same depth. The crappie were in 13ft of water over brush.

Not to brag too much on the local crew but these guys have been this all summer long. Year around really.

Thanks George, I'd be willing to bet it's going to be a really great fall and winter also. Do you remember how good the hybrids were back in 06 when the lake was so low? We could go out and catch 40-60 hybrids a day. The crappie bite was amazing also. I'm thinking it could be another one of those falls if the lake stays low. Unfortunately if the lake drops too far there won't be any good ramps to use. At that point I'll just beach my boat but let's hope it doesn't come to that.

The fall of '06 was as good as it can get here. The low water helped bunch the fish up and you could catch hybrids til you got tired of it.

Yes it was great! I remember thanksgiving week you could fill a boat full of fish if you wanted too.
